College football: Saints' Olson in Scout Bowl

St. Scholastica senior wide receiver Aaron Olson of Esko will be in Myrtle Beach, S.C., this weekend to take part in the FreeAgentFootball.com DI-FCS Senior Scout Bowl.

St. Scholastica senior wide receiver Aaron Olson of Esko will be in Myrtle Beach, S.C., this weekend to take part in the FreeAgentFootball.com DI-FCS Senior Scout Bowl.

The game, which takes place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium, features players from the Football Championship Subdivision, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Olson will be one of 15 NCAA Division III players competing in front of professional scouts.

While at St. Scholastica, Olson broke program records for career receptions (130), receiving yards (2,374) and touchdowns scored (40) and earned three UMAC first-team selections. He had career highs in receptions (51) and yards (844) this season along with a conference-best 12 touchdown receptions.
