St. Scholastica will play the second of three straight UMAC home football games when the Saints play Greenville (Ill.) University on homecoming at 6 p.m. today at Public Schools Stadium.

St. Scholastica (3-2 overall, 3-1 UMAC) edged Northwestern 14-7 last week as Zach Edwards threw for 314 yards and two scores. Edwards has thrown for 300 yards in four of the Saints' five games this season and has 1,591 passing yards on the year.

Edwards connected in the first quarter with Aaron Olson of Esko, extending Olson's streak of touchdowns in UMAC games to 20. Senior Ben Buthe added 48 rushing yards and is just three yards short of 1,000 for his career.

Senior linebacker Jonathan Senger led the defense last week with 11 tackles and two quarterback sacks. He ranks 15th in NCAA Division III with 6.8 solo tackles per game.

Greenville (1-4, 1-2) was off last week but picked up its first win of the season two weeks ago by downing Westminster 24-20 on the road. Freshman running back Courtney Mitchell has only played one game for the Panthers but was a difference maker, rushing 22 times for 189 yards in the win over Westminster.
