Junior quarterback Zach Edwards continued his assault on St. Scholastica's football record book, tossing a program-best seven touchdown passes in a 47-13 homecoming victory over Greenville in UMAC football Saturday night at Public Schools Stadium.
Edwards finished 34-for-59 passing for 386 yards for the Saints (4-2 overall, 4-1 UMAC), with senior Aaron Olson of Esko having a school-record four touchdown receptions while extending his streak of touchdowns in UMAC games to 21.
Edwards has thrown for more than 300 yards in five of the Saints' six games this season and has 1,977 passing yards.
Olson finished with seven receptions for 135 yards, while Eddie Lee added 11 receptions for 129 yards and two more scores. Senior Ben Buthe added eight carries for 41 yards in topping 1,000 career rushing yards.
The St. Scholastica defense, meanwhile, forced three turnovers while holding the Panthers (1-5, 1-3) to 273 yards, including just 63 through the air, with most of that coming in the fourth quarter. Quinten McGregor, Cal Germain and Jonathan Senger led the Saints with 11 tackles apiece.

Greenville freshman running back Courtney Mitchell, who rushed 22 times for 189 yards in his only other game this season, a win over Westminster, rushed 27 times for 161 yards and scored the Panthers' first touchdown on a 38-yarder in the second quarter.
