The St. Scholastica women's cross country team won its 13th consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference championship meet Saturday in New Brighton, Minn.
Senior Chelsea Johnson won her fourth consecutive race, and sixth overall this season, with a time of 21 minutes, 33.7 seconds to lead a Saints team that placed seven runners among the top 10 finishers of the 6,000-meter race.
Andrea Mogren finished second overall with a time of 23:51.5 and Liz Braml finished fourth in 23:56.3.
r The Saints men won their fifth consecutive UMAC title with sophomore Chris Lawson winning the 8K race in 26:37.8.
The Saints placed two other runners in the top five with Luke McKenzie finishing third (27:22.1) and Charlie Haberman taking fourth (27:23.8).
