Former Duluth East boys basketball coach Chuck Tolo was named inaugural head coach of Lake Superior College's new basketball program Thursday.
Tolo spent 11 seasons at East, leading the team to the Class AAAA state tournament three times.
Phillip Holmere was named the assistant coach for the team that will begin play in the fall of 2018.
