Stout tops UWS women
Wisconsin-Stout overcame 29 percent shooting in the first half to upend Wisconsin-Superior 60-56 for its first Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory of the season Wednesday night in Menomonie, Wis.
Bethany Reyzer scored 13 points to lead the Blue Devils (5-15 overall, 1-10 WIAC) and Haley Frehlich made 3 of 5 shots from 3-point land.
Connie Urmanski led the Yellowjackets (9-11, 3-9) with 13 points, while Hailey Hart had 12 rebounds. Bri Davis recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
