Rainy River edged Fond du Lac 73-64 in a nonconference women's community college game on Friday in Virginia, while Rainy River won the men's game 84-69.
In the women's game, Claudia Turner led the Thunder with 21 points and six rebounds, while Kami Diver added 17 points. Da'Rnay Sandlin chipped in with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Kenda Benner had a game-high 12 rebounds.
In the men's game, Michael Hall had 21 points and Curtis Rogers had 11 to lead Fond du Lac.
