Minnesota Duluth first baseman Alex Wojiechowski was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Central Region First Team, announced Thursday.
Wojiechowski, a freshman from Coon Rapids, Minn., was one of just two freshmen named to the First Team. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference player of the year led the Bulldogs with a .425 batting average, .474 on-base percentage, five home runs and 37 RBIs.
