College athletics: Four Saints earn UMAC player of week awards

St. Scholastica student-athletes earned four of the six Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Players of the Week awards on Monday.

Mitchell Olson was named Baseball Player of the Week, going 7-for-12 with five RBI and five runs scored in three games in Florida.

Olivia Howe was the Softball Player of the Week, going 19-for-27 with two home runs, eight RBI and eight runs scored in eight games in Florida.

Haley Rosenthal was the conference's Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. Rosenthal earned three of the Saints' four wins, allowing eight earned runs in 37.1 innings while striking out 24.

Bradley Golant was the UMAC's Tennis Player of the Week. Golant went a perfect 3-0 in singles play in his first matches of the season in Florida. Golant didn't drop a game in two of his wins.
