Martin Luther broke from a 34-34 halftime deadlock to beat St. Scholastica 72-53 in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game on Saturday at Reif Gym.
Hannah Hackbarth had 20 points and Hannah Rothe added 14 to lead Martin Luther (9-12 overall, 7-3 UMAC), which outscored the Saints 38-19 in the second half by holding them to 21 percent shooting.
Kayla Heisler had 14 points and Haley Hoyer came off the bench to add 11 for St. Scholastica (9-12, 6-4).
