Mike Christensen of Pokegama Golf Club in Grand Rapids shot a final-round 77 Wednesday to finish in sixth place at the 24th Minnesota Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship at Dellwood Hills Golf Colf Course.
Sammy Schmitz of Northfield Golf Club widened his 36-hole lead from one stroke to win by seven shots over Steve Chesley and Blake Onkka.
