Aaron Musburger scored 35 points and Anthony Marturano made the game-winning, buzzer-beating field goal to lift Chisholm to a 66-64 victory over Mountain Iron-Buhl in a Section 7A high school boys basketball quarterfinal Saturday night at Duluth Denfeld.
The eighth-seeded Bluestreaks (10-19) continued their improbable run through the tournament by overcoming a 32-27 halftime deficit.
Chisholm advances to play sixth-seeded Cherry (16-10) in a semifinal at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Romano Gym. Lakeview Christian Academy and Ely meet in the first semi at 6.
Deer River 75, International Falls 62
Noah Kaczor scored 36 points and Henry Hellmann added 21 as the Warriors eliminated the Broncos in a Section 7AA quarterfinal at Romano Gym.

Deer River (20-8) spurted to a 40-26 halftime lead and held on to advance to Thursday's 7:45 p.m. semifinal against top-seeded Mora.
BOYS HOCKEY
East trio on all-tournament team
Duluth East seniors Meirs Moore, Alex Toscano and Phil Beaulieu were named to the Minnesota Class AA all-tournament team after the Greyhounds' third-place performance last week.
Four members of champion Edina (Parker Reno, Andy Jordahl, Connor Hurley and Dylan Malmquist) were named as well four from runner-up Hill-Murray (John Dugas, Zach LeVelle, Sam Becker and Mitch Slattery). Moorhead goalie Jacob Dittmer rounded out the team.
Benilde's Besse is Mr. Hockey
Benilde-St. Margaret's forward Grant Besse on Sunday won the 2013 Minnesota Mr. Hockey award, given to the state's outstanding senior boys high school player.
Besse, who will play for Wisconsin next season, was picked from a group of 10 finalists that included two Northland players -- Grand Rapids defenseman Jake Bischoff, a University of Minnesota recruit, and Hibbing-Chisholm forward Adam Johnson, a Minnesota Duluth recruit.

Besse had 48 goals and six hat tricks this season, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He led Benilde-St. Margaret's to the Class AA state title last season.
Also Sunday, St. Thomas Academy goalie David Zevnik won the Frank Brimsek Award as the state's top senior goaltender.
