Dillon Card ran for 113 yards and three touchdowns and tossed a 21-yard scoring pass to Marcos Gomez last Friday in a 50-6 victory over Hancock.
The Verndale quarterback hit paydirt on runs of three, 38 and 41 yards.
Andy Bounds logged 61 yards rushing and scored on runs of 16 and 33 yards.
Mac Schluttner capped Verndale's big scoring night with an eight-yard run.

Dakota Finck added to Verndale's 267 rushing yards with 36 yards on six carries.
Gomez and Eric Blaha combined for six grabs and 73 yards. Will Kramer had two receptions for 34 yards.
Kramer, Card and Sickels combined for 22 stops on defense as the Pirates held the Owls to just 22 yards rushing and 46 yards passing.
Seth Zins forced a safety by tackling Hancock quarterback Taylor Holleman in the end zone.
The Pirates will head to Bertha Friday for a 7 p.m. meeting with the Bears.
