Bulldogs lose sixth straight

Jordan Spencer added 16 points and Ellen Hansen had 12 points for Wayne (13-7 overall, 9-7 NSIC), while the two combined on 23 rebounds.

Katrina Newman had 12 points and nine rebounds to lead UMD (10-10, 7-9), which lost its sixth straight, the worst streak since Annette Wiles took over as coach in 2008. Abbie Whitney came off the bench to add 11 points.

Shooting woes continue to plague UMD as the Bulldogs shot just 30.6 percent.
