Minnesota Duluth hosts Minnesota State-Moorhead and Northern State in a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheaders this weekend.

The Bulldogs take on the Dragons tonight, with the women playing at 6 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m. The UMD women are 9-7 overall and 6-6 in league play and hope to get a weekend sweep to move up in a bunched NSIC field. Moorhead comes in at 9-7, 5-7.

The UMD men are looking for consistency after splitting the last two weekends. The Bulldogs are 7-9,5-7 while the Dragons are 11-5, 7-5.

UMD plays the Wolves on Saturday, with the women playing at 4 p.m. and the men at 6 p.m. At 14-2 overall and 10-2 in league play, the Northern women are tied with Wayne State for the league lead and are ranked No. 22 in NCAA Division II. At 13-5 and 8-4, the Northern men are also contending for an NSIC title.
