Adam Bray and T.J. Peterson combined on a six-hitter as the Waterloo Bucks won their seventh straight with a 10-0 victory over the Duluth Huskies in Northwoods League baseball Friday night before 2,167 in Waterloo, Iowa.
Pat Mackenzie had three of Waterloo’s 14 hits to lead the Bucks (16-9).
Keach Ballard of Oklahoma had two hits to lead Duluth (7-18), which has lost three straight and is 11 games out in the Northern Division standings with 11 games remaining in the first half of the season.
The teams play again at 7:05 p.m. today before the Huskies return home Sunday to take on Mankato, the first of a season-long six-day, seven-game homestand.
