Anders Broman scored 50 points to lead Lakeview Christian Academy past Cook County 87-66 on Saturday at Reif Gymnasium on the St. Scholastica campus to become the second all-time scoring leader in Minnesota high school boys basketball history.
Broman, who also had six assists and four steals, equaled his second-highest scoring total of the season and moved past 2008 Ellsworth graduate Cody Schilling with 3,462 career points. He trails only former Minnesota Transitions star Kevin Noreen on the all-time list.
Freshman Bjorn Broman had 12 assists.
The Lions (19-3) have won four consecutive games and ended a 14-game winning streak by the Vikings (17-2).
