Jordan Diver scored 22 of his 34 points in the second half, and Devonte Williamson poured in 20 of his 25 in the first half to lead Fond du Lac Ojibwe to a 108-75 victory over Wrenshall in a Section 7A high school boys basketball quarterfinal game Saturday at Hibbing's Lincoln Middle School.
Trevonte Brown added 19 points on six 3-pointers as the top-seeded Ogichida (22-3) advanced to a Wednesday semifinal against Bigfork (21-5), which eliminated Chisholm, at Hibbing Memorial Arena.
Jared Kittel led the Wrens (13-12) with 25 points.

Dominic Janke scored a game-high 18 points and the Panthers overcame a 13-point first-half deficit to win the 7A quarterfinal Saturday in Hibbing.

Adding 13 points apiece were Colton Peterson and Kody Karppinen, who surpassed 1,000 career points.
The Panthers (22-3) advance to Wednesday's second semifinal vs. Ely, a 72-66 winner over North Woods.

Sziron qualifies for state

Superior junior Giselle Sziron qualified for state by finishing third in the all-around competition at a WIAA sectional in Eau Claire. Sziron also finished third on the uneven bars; the Spartans finished sixth overall as a team.
Sziron will compete in the state meet next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.
