The hits keep coming with the Duluth Huskies, except they're going against them, not for them.
Battle Creek infielder Mike Murphy hit a two-run double with one out in the top of the ninth inning Wednesday to lift the Bombers to a 7-5 Northwoods League victory, sending Duluth to its franchise-record ninth straight loss before 778 fans at Wade Stadium.
Murphy finished 4-for-5 with one run and three RBIs to lead Battle Creek (6-14), which outhit the Huskies 13-6.
Tim Jobe was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI to lead Duluth (5-15). The Huskies led 4-0 after the first inning and 5-4 after seven, but couldn't hold it as the Bombers rallied against Duluth reliever Brant Combs (1-3).
The Huskies begin a four-game road trip at 7:05 p.m. today when they play at Madison.
