Brooke Olson scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Minnesota Duluth to a 69-60 victory over St. Cloud State on Saturday at Romano Gym, handing the Bulldogs their second consecutive NSIC North Division title.

UMD (10-1 overall, 9-1 NSIC) trailed 33-25 at halftime but used a 24-9 run in the fourth quarter to overcome the Huskies (10-4, 7-3).

Ann Simonet had 11 points and Payton Kahl added 10 points for the Bulldogs, who will enter Thursday’s NSIC playoffs as the No. 1 seed from the North and will play the No. 4 seed in the South Division.

  • Erika Gosch’s 23 points led Martin Luther College to a 70-66 victory over St. Scholastica in a UMAC game Saturday in New Ulm, Minnesota.

The Saints (0-5, 0-4 UMAC) used a 10-1 run late in the fourth quarter to trim the deficit to 66-64 before Gosch and Emily Witkowski each hit a pair of free throws to seal the win for the Knights (2-8, 1-4).
