Anthony Roberts scored 29 points to lead St. Cloud State to a 91-86 regular-season finale victory over Minnesota Duluth on Saturday at Halenbeck Hall in St. Cloud, keeping the Bulldogs out of the upcoming NSIC playoffs.

Jack Middleton and Drew Blair each netted 20 points to lead UMD (6-7 overall, 5-7 NSIC), while Austin Andrews (19), Charlie Katona (14) and Joshua Brown (11) also hit double figures. The Bulldogs made 33 of 68 field goals (48.5%).

Caleb Donaldson contributed 20 points for the Huskies (8-8, 6-6), who moved ahead of the Bulldogs into the top four of the North Division and earned a berth in the playoffs.

  • Jack Silgen scored 20 points and St. Scholatica remained unbeaten with a 90-61 victory over Martin Luther College on Saturday in the Saints’ regular-season home finale at Reif Gym.

The Saints (6-0 overall, 5-0 UMAC) totaled 54 points in the paint and 40 off the bench. Duluth East graduate Noah Winesett added 13 points.

The Knights (1-7, 0-5) shot only 34.8% from the field.

  • Eli Vogel scored 22 points, including making two clinching free throws with 5.2 seconds to play, as Wisconsin-Superior won its first game of the season by holding off Crown College 77-74 on Saturday at Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium.

Seth Royston led Crown (3-6, 3-4) with 22 points.
