Minnesota Duluth has announced the final two signings of its eight-member 2020 recruiting class in Joshua Brown and Cole Nicholson.

Brown, a 6-foot-4 guard from Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, Minn., is the No. 22-ranked prospect in this year’s senior class by Prep Hoops Minnesota. He averaged 14.8 points per game while shooting 46 percent from 3-point range in leading Park Center to a 23-5 record. As a junior, he helped the Pirates go 30-2 and finish third at the Class AAAA state tournament.

Nicholson, a transfer from NCAA Division I Northern Colorado, is a 6-foot-6 forward who was targeted in UMD’s 2019 recruiting class coming out of Chaska, Minn., where he averaged 23 points per game as a senior.

Brown and Nicholson join a class that includes seniors Peter Soumis of Hermantown and News Tribune All-Area Player of the Year John Sutherland of Grand Rapids.
