Jack Silgen scored 22 points and had eight rebounds and Quinn Fischer recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards in St. Scholastica's 85-63 win over Minnesota Morris on Saturday at Reif Gym in Duluth.

St. Scholastica, which has won six straight, led by five at halftime but limited the Cougars to just 23 second-half points and pulled away.

The Saints (10-5 UMAC, 13-11 overall) also got 16 points and five rebounds from Nick Carlson, Chance Larson had 10 points and eight rebounds and Collin Anderson had 10 points.

The Saints play host to Northwestern at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Reif.

  • Five Wisconsin-Superior players scored in double figures and the Yellowjackets thumped Martin Luther 83-59 on Saturday at Mertz Mortorelli Gym in Superior.

Vid Milenkovic led the 'Jackets with 27 points and 10 rebounds, and Mac Reykdal had 16 points. Eli Vogel had 14 points and six boards, Allen Anderson had 11 points and 10 assists and Mason Ackley finished with 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The Yellowjackets improved to 13-1 in the conference and 16-7 overall. They take on Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Superior.
