Minnesota Duluth opened the NSIC schedule with a 95-74 win over St. Cloud State on Monday at Romano Gym in Duluth.

Brandon Myer led the Bulldogs (6-1) with 25 points and eight rebound, and Jack Middleton finished with 16 points.

Alex Illikainen and Drew Blair both scored 12 points and Illikainen had a team-high nine boards. Myer and Illikainen also both had four assists.

The Bulldogs shot 58 percent from the floor, including 10 of 25 (40 percent) from 3-point range.

UMD plays host to Minot State at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Romano.
