Wisconsin-Superior advanced to the UMAC championship game with a wild 71-67 overtime win against Northwestern on Thursday night at Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium.
The Yellowjackets' quest for a fourth straight UMAC tournament title was in jeopardy until Katie White's 3-pointer at the regulation buzzer tied the game at 60-60 and forced OT.
The Yellowjackets went on to outscore the Eagles 11-7 in the extra session to improve to 23-2.
White led UWS with 16 points.
Amy Berglund and Brooklyn DeKam both had 15 for the Eagles (14-12).
UWS faces Bethany Lutheran on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings advanced with a 72-62 win over Minnesota-Morris.
