The Duluth Huskies overcame an early three-run deficit to edge the La Crosse Loggers 4-3 in Northwoods League play Friday at Wade Stadium in Duluth.

The Huskies fell behind 3-0 after two and a half innings before getting a pair of runs in the bottom of the third via a two-RBI double by Mike Boeve. Duluth tied the game in the fifth with an RBI single by Calyn Halvorson and took the lead in the sixth on a fielder's choice and RBI by Ambren Voitik.

The victory keeps the Huskies second in the Great Plains East Division and gets the team to the .500 mark (13-13).

Duluth remains home at Wade Stadium again on Saturday, hosting the St. Cloud Rox at 3:05 p.m.
