St. Scholastica generated only five hits off four pitchers in a 6-1 nonconference loss to Benedictine (Ill.) University on Friday in Winter Haven, Florida.

Braydon Hanson drove in the lone Saints run with a second-inning double.

Ryan Miller earned the win by allowing four hits in 5 2/3 innings before three relievers kept the Saints at bay.

The rest of St. Scholastica's spring trip has been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
