After falling once to St. Cloud State on Saturday in Mauston, Wis., Minnesota Duluth was swept by the Huskies on Sunday, losing 8-2 in an NSIC contest and 7-4 in nonconference action on a cold afternoon.

The Bulldogs had as many errors as hits (five) in the first game as St. Cloud starter Sheldon Miks struck out nine in six innings of work.

Despite two hits and two RBIs from Alex Welder, and 12 hits overall, UMD (8-23 overall, 6-14 NSIC) didn't fare much better in the rematch.
