St. Scholastica put 12 runs across the plate in the seventh inning and beat Keene State 18-4 on Friday in the first of two games the Saints played in the RussMatt Invitational at Auburndale, Fla.

Aaron Weber was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, Cody Venske drove in three runs and the Saints (3-4) benefited by eight walks from four pitchers from Keene State (3-6).

Jake Sande and Braydon Hanson combined on a seven-hitter with six strikeouts for CSS, which was roughed up 15-7 by Concordia, Texas (15-1) in the second game.
