Jeff Reynolds' single in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Pete Cappetta with the winning run as the Duluth Huskies beat the Mankato MoonDogs 1-0 to earn a two-game Northwoods League sweep on Monday before 1,162 at Wade Stadium.
Ben Hughes started on the mound for the Huskies (9-6 second half, 26-20 overall) and went six stellar innings, allowing just three hits while striking out eight.
Austin Gaines got the win in relief.
The Huskies won the first seven-inning game 3-2 as Duluth pitcher Robbie Collier improved to 5-1 with five solid innings and Cody Asche had two hits, including one of three Huskies' doubles, with a run and RBI.
Mankato dropped to 5-11, 20-30.
