Khalid Collymore’s single with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Jarrett Bickel with the winning run to lift the Bismarck Larks to a 3-2 victory over the Duluth Huskies in Northwoods League baseball before 1,500 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Bickel had reached due to the NWL using the international tiebreaker rule allowing a runner to start at second base.
Collymore finished with a pair of hits, run and an RBI to lead the Larks (2-1).
Ryan McDonal had three hits, including a two-run home run in the fourth inning to lead the Huskies (1-2), while five pitchers combined to hold Bismarck to just eight hits and one earned run.
The same teams rematch at 6:35 p.m. Thursday in Bismarck.
