Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Illinois, led from start to finish to capture the $10,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model stop Tuesday night at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior.
Sheppard, who won his heat to make it a clean sweep, started the 50-lap feature on the pole and took advantage of it, cruising to his ninth World of Outlaws win this season and fourth in a row. He is the defending World of Outlaws Late Model Series champion and a two-time title holder at just 27 years old.
Cade Dillard of Robeline, Louisiana continued his recent string of success by finishing second while dirt-track star Jimmy Owens, making a special appearance on the circuit, finished third.
A pair of Wissota classes were also part of the racing program, with Andrew Inman of Canyon taking the checkered flag in Midwest Modifieds and Jase Wiarda of Duluth topping the Hornets class.
