Q: I have valid snowmobile stickers that have been torn off while driving on brushy trails in the woods. If you look closely, the color and year of expiration is still visible as the sticky surface remained intact. Am I able to get stickers to replace the ones torn off?
A: Yes. Snowmobile registration stickers need to be replaced with duplicates if the information on the sticker, including the year, make and registration number, becomes illegible. Duplicate stickers for these and any other DNR-registered machine or watercraft can be obtained for a small fee through the local motor vehicle office where you get a driver’s license, register a car or originally get your DNR registration stickers. Make sure the surface to which you are applying the stickers is clean, dry and warm, which will help them stay on for the duration of their validity.
