A step in the right direction: Take a hike for National Trails Day

National Trails Day, on Saturday, grew from a 1987 report to President Reagan recommending that all Americans be able to go out their front doors and, within 15 minutes, be on trails that wind through their cities or towns. Certainly, most Duluth residents can make that happen, and so can most Northland residents.
