Duluth East sophomore Lauren Carlson finished 10th for her two runs at the Alpine state girls meet Wednesday at Giants Ridge outside Biwabik.
Carlson, who placed fourth in the Section 7 meet on the same hill, was timed in a combined 1 minute, 18.73 seconds down the Innsbruck and Helsinki courses.
Eagan’s Sophia Palmquist won the event in 1:14.25 to edge Peyton Servais, of team champion Lakeville North, by 27-hundredths of a second.
The Greyhounds were seventh out of eight in the team event with 102 points.
Minneapolis Washburn’s Luke Conway won the boys race, cruising down the slopes in 1:10.44 to win by nearly eight-tenths of a second.
Masen McKeever of Cook County-Silver Bay was the top Northland finisher in 25th place in 1:16.91.
Lakeville South captured the boys team title with 160 points, three ahead of Stillwater.
