The Duluth Rowing Club participated in the 116th Northwest International Rowing Regatta, held in Kenora, Ontario, over the weekend. The DRC sent 55 rowers to compete among 250 rowers from Minnesota, Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Duluth won gold in the Junior Men’s 8 with coxswain and the Junior Men’s 4 with coxswain. The DRC also had three second-place and 10 third-place finishes at the regatta.
The next event for the Duluth Rowing Club is the 27-kilometer Death Row Regatta up the St. Louis River from the DRC’s Rowing Center on Park Point.
