The St. Scholastica women's golf team will take part in the NCAA Division III championship meet for the third-straight spring after winning an automatic berth in October as the UMAC champions.

The meet gets underway at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston and resumes at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Only the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one on a top-15 team advance to Thursday.

The Saints, who are ranked No. 23 out of 25 schools, have finished 21st the last two years.

Junior Hannah Cornwell out of Duluth East is the only Saint on the roster this spring to have teed off in the last two Div. III championship meets. Sophomore Hannah Johnson of Two Harbors leads the Saints heading into the meet with eight top-five finishes in 11 events.
