Hermantown senior Austin Danelski carded a 74 on Tuesday at Ridges at Sand Creek golf course in Jordan to put himself in a tie for seventh in the Class AA boys state tournament.

Danelski and the seven players he's tied with are five strokes behind the leader, East Grand Forks senior Nate Deziel, who shot a 69.

In the Class AA team standings, the Cloquet-Esko boys are fourth at 319. Detroit Lakes leads after shooting a combined 305.

In the Class AA girls team standings, International Falls is fourth at 336, 15 strokes behind first-place Detroit Lakes.

The North Woods boys - led by senior Tate Olson's 77 - are in the hunt for a Class A team title at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker after shooting a 328. Mounds Park Academy and Sleepy Eye United are tied for the lead with 325.

Duluth East senior Dylan Crist is tied for 22nd in the Class AAA boys tournament after shooting a 75 at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids. He's seven strokes off the pace.
