St. Scholastica needed extra innings in two of three games to sweep Keystone (Pa.) in a nonconference series Sunday and Monday in Fort Pierce, Fla.

In the first game of Sunday's doubleheader, the Saints' Jordan Risse and Tyler Henderson each had a pair of hits and scored three times in an 8-4 victory. Pitcher Andy Davis struck out seven in six innings and improved to 2-0 this season.

In the nightcap, Tyler Duex slapped a bases-loaded single past first base in the bottom of the ninth to give the Saints a 6-5 win in extra innings. St. Scholastica allowed five runs in the second inning, but rallied for six unanswered runs over the next seven to grab the win.

Monday, the Saints plated a run in both the ninth and 10th innings to nab a 6-5 victory.

St. Scholastica improved to 4-3 on the season, while Keystone now sits at 2-7.
