Laurissa Ruhman and Nicholas Rasmussen, both of Duluth, were married Jan. 26 in Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Pam Ekberg of Duluth and the late Brian Ruhman. His parents are Dale and Sue Rasmussen of Duluth.
The bride chose Vanessa Linskie as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erikka Ruhman, Brandi Paulson and Alexandra Doll. Heidi Paulson was flower girl.
The groom chose his brother, Brian Rasmussen, as best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Ruhman, Dustin Rogers and Dan Warner. Cody Paulson was ring bearer.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Duluth East High School, is a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard, which she joined in 2006, and is pursuing a vocational certificate at Lake Superior College in Duluth. She is a receptionist at Benna Ford in Superior.

The groom, a 2003 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from Lake Superior College in 2006 with an associate degree in architectural drafting. He is a computer assisted design technician at Maurices corporate office in Duluth.
