Robert and Lillian Olund of Makinen celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a get-together of family and friends Sept. 15 at Leisure Lake.
Bob and the former Lillian Tweith were married Sept. 12, 1948, in the former First Methodist Chapel in Duluth.
Their children are Robert and Susan Olund of Duluth; John Olund of New York City; Ron and Carmen Olund of Fairbanks, Alaska; and Don Olund of Phoenix. They have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Robert retired from Big Bottle Shop. Lillian retired from Chez's.
