Race, Shingleton

Kari Race and Nicholas Shingleton, both of Shore­wood, Wis., were married May 19 in The Astor Hotel in Milwaukee.

Her parents are Dale and Margaret Race of Green Bay. His parents are William and Virginia Shingleton of Valparaiso, Ind.

The bride chose her sister, Jennifer Gaffy, as matron of honor, Stacey Meyer as maid of honor, and David Clement as man of honor.

The groom chose Adam Kirby as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Salgado and Major John Baumann.

The bride, a 1996 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from the University of North Car­olina in Chapel Hill in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and from Mar­quette University Law School in 2005 with her juris doctor. She is an attorney at Gutglass, Erickson, Bonville & Larson in Mil­waukee.

The groom, a 1998 graduate of Valparaiso High School, graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He is the manager of merchant services at FIS Global in Milwaukee.
