A West Central Tribune Minute feature story: The Milan Village Arts School is campaigning to purchase and preserve the Karen Jenson Trestuen Garden Gallery in Milan. The home of rosemaling artist Karen Jenson is described as "a masterpiece of design, color and Scandinavian art." It's the fruit of more than 50 years of her art, as well as a friendship with uniquely talented twin brothers Aaron and Arvid Swenson of rural Flom, Minnesota.
Raymond roots: Home cooking makes a comeback in Jennifer Rude Klett's new cookbook

A West Central Tribune Minute feature story: Willmar native and former newspaper man Forrest Peterson has published his third novel, "The Swineherd's Angel," set in central Iowa. Peterson chose to forgo the traditional publishing route in favor of self-publishing with the assistance of a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council.
