The single-vehicle incident on Highway 23 involved a 19-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, both from Holyoke.
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 12:54 p.m. Nov. 23 in Wakefield Township. The crash occurred in the 16200 block of Stearns County Road 49 after a vehicle attempting a left turn from the driveway of a residence pulled out in front of another, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

A jury in 2017 acquitted Jeronimo Yanez of second-degree manslaughter and a firearms charge in the shooting death the previous year of Philando Castile, a St. Paul school cafeteria supervisor, along Larpenteur Avenue.
Jean Margaret Miller, 69, of Clarkfield, died in a fatal two-vehicle crash reported north of Clarkfield Monday morning. Sallianne Ruth Gottschall, 36, of Clarkfield, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale. A 6-year-old male juvenile passenger was also injured. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

"The Sheriff's Office believes it to be an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public," the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
Adrian Medina, 16, made his first appearance Friday as a certified adult in Kandiyohi County District Court. He faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. A two-vehicle crash reported on Nov. 18 resulted in the death of 52-year-old Melanee McKale, of Starbuck, according to a news release from the Pope County Sheriff's Office. The other driver, 44-year-old Denis Zinke, of Sauk Centre, was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Jomar Luis Saenz, 22, of Willmar, was sentenced Oct. 28 to concurrent prison terms of 58 months in a Willmar shooting in August of 2021 and 36 months in a separate incident earlier the same night. Saenz entered an Alford guilty plea to first-degree burglary and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon. Other charges, including attempted murder, were dismissed. Saenz's expected release date is Nov. 4, 2024.

Holiday lights to brighten up Willmar's Robbins Island for a fifth year

Celebrate the Light of the World, the holiday light display started by Chad Koosman more than 15 years ago, will be celebrating its fifth year at Robbins Island in Willmar. The display begins Thanksgiving and runs through New Year's Eve.
