Stacey Pietenpol and Joel Zimmerman, both of Evanston, Ill., were married Jan. 25 in First United Methodist Church in Green Bay.
Her parents are David and Diane Pietenpol of Green Bay. His parents are Steve and Shari Zimmerman of Duluth.
The bride chose her sister, Ali Knight, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Larsen, April Larson and Amy Rowland.
The groom chose his brother, Tomas Zimmerman, as best man. Groomsmen were Cory Olson, Joshua Halonen and Erik Andrews.
The bride, a 2002 graduate of Bay Port High School in Green Bay, graduated from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston this year with a master's degree in Christian education. She is a primary counselor at Northwest Passage in Frederic, Wis.

The groom, a 1998 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston this year with a master's degree in divinity. He is a primary counselor at Northwest Passage in Spooner.
