Nicole Pettersen and Jason Larson, both of Northfield, Minn., plan to be married May 30 in the Grand in Northfield.
Her parents are Karl Pettersen of Duluth and the late Mary Pettersen. His parents are Arvid and Joanne Larson of Dennison, Minn.
The future bride, a 2003 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in social work and is pursuing a master's degree in clinical social work at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She is a mental health practitioner at Fernbrook Family Center in Owatonna, Minn.
The future groom, a graduate of Northfield High School, is a landscape and design foreman at Grove Landscaping in Northfield.
