As I sit here in front of my laptop enjoying my morning cup of coffee and playing a video bingo game, I am disturbed. Growing up in a small western Pennsylvania town surrounded by loving friends and family, meeting a great guy while serving in the U.S Navy, raising children in a St. Paul suburb, and now enjoying retirement in the beautiful Northland, I have enjoyed the American dream. I am worried and anxious, though.
We have a person in the White House who is destroying this dream for our children and grandchildren and generations to follow. He must be stopped. He has no American values and I don't think any values or morals at all. He is a showman and is playing a game. However, he is using our great country to play the game, and he must be stopped.
I have pretty much given up on contacting my Wisconsin congressmen. They appear to be on the same page as President Donald Trump.
Minnesota people have had the good sense to elect more responsible leaders, and I commend Minnesotans for that.
I am scared. All of us should be.
