I was quite saddened to hear that the "honking tree," just south of Two Harbors, met its early demise due to the destructive work of vandals.
But you know what? Let's all look on the bright side. If the wood is harvested properly, there ought to be more than enough to provide Twiggy with a lifetime supply of water skis. And with any luck there should be just the right amount left over to construct a decent casket for our late pal, Windchill.
I, for one, am keeping my fingers crossed!
