In response to the article published Sunday, Oct. 16, “Far more dogs killed in Wisconsin bear hunt this year,” I say that maybe it is time for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to prohibit the use of dogs during bear hunts.
What value do you place on your dogs if you choose to hunt in areas where conflicts between wolves and dogs most likely will occur? Was it worth it?
