Well, just what does our country stand for?
We stood by and watched the protestors in Tiananmen Square crushed by tanks -- and we were ashamed.
We intervened in the Balkans to save thousands of Muslims -- and we were proud.
We told the Shiites in southern Iraq that we supported their effort to overthrow Saddam Hussein and when they believed us and took him on we stood by and watched thousands of them slaughtered -- and we were ashamed.
We stood up and told our government no more torture in our names -- and we were proud.

Now, will we stand by and watch the protesters in Iran crushed? Or will we stand up and support people wanting a free and fair election? Will we be ashamed or will we be proud?
