Reader's View: Where was civility at council meeting?

I was on the fence about the purchase of riot gear for the Duluth Police Department -- until the behavior of protesters at the City Council meeting. That convinced me that such gear is needed ("Duluth to buy riot gear," Oct. 23).

I was on the fence about the purchase of riot gear for the Duluth Police Department - until the behavior of protesters at the City Council meeting. That convinced me that such gear is needed (" Duluth to buy riot gear ," Oct. 23).

The protesters' behavior at the meeting was disgusting and shameful. What more can I say?
